CBA Delegate Access

We will assign a dedicated Sherlok team member to manage your CBA reprices for you as part of your current subscription free of charge. Here’s how you can provide your Sherlok agent access to your Broker Portal. If you haven't already received your agent's details, please email brokersupport@sherlok.com.au.

 

Step 1: Create an email address for your brokerage:

  1. Create an email address such as portaladmin@yourbusiness.com.au to exclusively use for Sherlok delegate profiles. This email will also be used for future lenders who require support staff to have their own credentials.
  2. You need to set up an auto-forward rule for all received emails to be sent to brokerportaladmin@sherlok.com.au.

Rather than creating a new mailbox, your email provider should already provide an alternative solution free of charge:

Step 2: Assign a delegate access: 

  1. Log in to the Broker Portal using your existing CBA user ID.
  2. Navigate to the Quick Links menu on the right pan and click on Manage Delegates

  3. Complete the fields below to create a new Delegate or enter an Email Address to find an existing Delegate.

    If another broker in your office has already added your Sherlok delegate agent, the rest of the details associated with the email entered will pre-populate.

    If the delegate email address couldn’t be found, you’ll then be prompted to provide the following details provided to you by Sherlok:

    I. Your delegate email address (*see Step 1.)
    II. First name:
    III. Surname:
    IV. Phone Number:
    CBA has confirmed plans for a future enhancement to make the landline number optional, as only the mobile number is used for MFA. 

    If you don’t own a business landline, it can be set as a dummy number [eg:0200000000]

  4. ClickSubmit

✍️ Once submitted, delegate users will receive a "Welcome to CommBank" email introducing them to CommBroker. If the auto-forward rule in Step 1 has been set up correctly, Sherlok will receive the Welcome email, allowing your agent to finalise their access.
